This policy describes information handling for the Android game Ghost Check-In (package: com.jjjistudio.ghostcheckin) and this information page, provided by JJJI Studio.

1. Game information stored on your device

There is no account registration, login, in-app purchase or online leaderboard. Puzzle progress and records, tips, themes, furniture, guests, outfits, puzzle packs, daily streaks and settings are stored on your device. We do not send saves to developer servers or synchronize them through accounts. Android automatic backup is disabled. We cannot remotely access or recover these files.

The game is intended for children aged 9 and older, teens and adults. After the tutorial, the first time you open a puzzle, players who have not answered the age question are asked once to choose Under 18 or 18 or older. If you skip it there, it is not asked again at the next start, but it is asked again if you request a rewarded ad while your age group is unknown. We do not collect an exact age or date of birth; only an unknown, restricted or adult category and whether you answered stay on the device. This is not identity verification. You may continue basic gameplay without choosing and change the choice in Ad privacy settings. Choosing an age group never grants a reward by itself.

2. Rewarded ads and Google's information handling

The game uses Google AdMob rewarded ads. Completing an ad you choose can grant one hint, double the clear tips, or a 24-hour theme trial. We do not request banner, regular interstitial or app-open ads. If an ad is not ready when you tap a reward button, a preparing screen appears; if the ad is not ready within 30 seconds or you cancel, it closes without a reward.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process your IP address, app and ad interactions (such as launches, taps and video views), diagnostic information (such as performance and response delays), and identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID for advertising, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. Approximate location may be inferred from your IP address. These are possible SDK data categories, not a statement that every identifier is used for every player. Information may be sent to Google and businesses involved in providing ads. Google Mobile Ads SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS.

We use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to check consent status and ad privacy choices where applicable. Once an age group is known, consent checks and ad preparation may communicate with the service before you press an ad playback button. Not playing an ad does not necessarily mean no SDK communication occurs. Ad requests follow your consent choices and protective settings.

Protection for children and teenagers

All players who select “Under 18” receive child-directed and under-age-of-consent treatment, and we do not request personalized ads for them. Eighteen is a conservative app protection threshold, not a claim about every country's legal consent age. We send child-treatment tags and a G-rated ad content limit to Google. According to Google, child-directed settings in supported SDKs restrict interest-based advertising and remarketing and prevent transmission of the Android advertising ID. This does not eliminate all communication needed to provide ads. We do not use mediation with other ad networks.

When the age group is unknown or skipped, we do not start UMP consent updates, initialize the ad SDK, or request ads. While you review your age group, new ad requests stop and prepared ads are discarded. This cannot undo information already transmitted. Parents or guardians may contact us about information handling or deletion. Please do not send unnecessary details such as a child's name, school or date of birth.

3. Your choices and deletion

Where available for your region and consent status, you can change ad-related choices using “Ad privacy settings” in the game settings. Declining personalized ads may still allow some processing needed for ad delivery and security. Ad availability depends on your choices and service support. You may play the basic game without ad rewards. A reward is not granted if its ad completion conditions are not met.

You can reset or delete the advertising ID using Android's advertising privacy settings; available controls vary by device and OS. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it deletes local records and preferences, including puzzle progress and collected themes, furniture and guests. There is no cloud recovery. This does not automatically delete information already processed by Google. See Google's policy and controls for managing information it holds.

You may email us to exercise applicable rights regarding support information we handle, including access, correction, deletion and restriction of processing. We review and respond to requests subject to legal limitations, and may verify the requester only to the extent necessary.

4. Support emails, retention and disposal

If you email us, we process your reply address, message and attachments to respond. Do not send passwords, payment details or other unnecessary sensitive information. Once the support purpose is fulfilled and the information is no longer needed, we delete it without undue delay, including emails, attachments and separately saved copies. Any paper records are destroyed so they cannot be reconstructed. If a law requires retention, the relevant records are held separately for the required period and disposed of when that obligation ends.

Game save information remains on your device until deleted. Google's policies govern retention and deletion of information Google processes. We do not directly retain Google's raw advertising data or have the ability to delete it at will.

5. External services and international processing

We use Google AdMob and UMP for ads and consent, Gmail for support correspondence, and Google Firebase Hosting for this page. These services may process relevant information on servers outside your country of residence. Google operates servers in multiple countries; the responsible Google entity, processing locations and international transfer safeguards may depend on your region and service. See Google's policies below for details and contact information.

This policy page includes no ads, analytics tags, externally loaded fonts, tracking scripts or consent pop-ups. Connection information such as your IP address may still be sent to the hosting service when you request the page. Reading this policy is not treated as agreement to watch ads or consent to personalized advertising.

6. Changes and contact

When app features, SDKs or information practices change, we update this page and its effective date. We provide notice of significant changes as required by applicable law. For questions or privacy requests, contact JJJI Studio at jjjistudio@gmail.com.
